Dr. Sanjai Jalaj, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with a passion for rejuvenating his patients’ vision. Specializing in the latest techniques for corneal and refractive surgery, Dr. Jalaj is currently practicing in West Orange and Morristown. He is widely trusted by local physicians to perform their own cataract surgeries, thanks to his personalized approach to each patient’s care.

Dr. Jalaj’s expertise includes femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery with the most advanced intraocular lens implants, allowing him to achieve precise, customized outcomes that reduce or even eliminate the need for glasses. He also specializes in cutting-edge corneal transplantation techniques, such as Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK), which uses a fraction of the tissue required in traditional transplants. For patients with keratoconus, Dr. Jalaj employs a novel technique called corneal collagen crosslinking, often eliminating the need for transplants altogether.
